Best Bytes Media - Albany & Saratoga Videography

Wedding FAQ

Here is a list of common questions we receive. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to email us at

1) How much of the Ceremony / Reception do you shoot?

Ceremony – We will shoot the whole ceremony, but it may be edited down depending on the length of service.
Reception – We shoot all the formal activities and will stay until we have every thing to complete your video.

2) Is it possible to videotape everyone at the wedding ceremony and reception?

Although we make every attempt to include everyone, that guarantee can not be made. We do however; make a point to briefly scan the tables throughout the night. The focus is primarily on the bride and groom, but the camera is drawn to the action. The dance floor is a great place to be seen. Please let me know ahead of time if a specific family member should be filmed.

3) How long will our video be and how long does it take to edit?

An average video is 60 minutes long containing the sights and sounds of the day. The total length is up to Best Bytes Medias discretion. It takes about 40 hours to edit an average wedding video. The turn around time ranges from 12 – 14 weeks depending on the time of year and the package you purchase.

4) Can we make changes to the final video?

Any mistakes made by Best Bytes Media, such as misspellings or things we discussed ahead of time, will be made free of cost.

5) Do you require a deposit?

Generally speaking, a non-refundable deposit of $400 is required to hold the date for your wedding. The balance is then split and 50% is due on the day of the wedding while the remaining is due when the DVD is delivered. The payments and due dates will be outlined in your contract.

6) How do we get our completed videos?

We will call you to let know your video is complete. At that point, arrangements will be made or mail delivery or in person pick-up as well as a reminder of a balance due (if applicable).
